Pro-Set Nylon is a premium 3-strand rope. Its four-stage manufacturing process maximizes the rope's strength, abrasion resistance, and flexibility. A special heat stabilization operation minimizes shrinkage and hardening after the rope is exposed to the elements. These pre-cut anchor lines come with a captive-spliced, high strength black plastic thimble.
While, for a given diameter, its strength is somewhat lower than double braided lines, 3-strand construction exhibits superior elastic elongation - which can be an advantage in situations where high shock loads are experienced.
