Spare Propeller Nut - Aluminum

These anodes are made with an aluminum alloy which is specially formulated for marine anode use. They last longer than zinc anodes and, utilizing a less toxic activator, are safer for the environment.

These replacement aluminum anodes fit over the corresponding bronze shaft nuts installed on the end of the propeller shaft.
Cast-in stainless steel mounting insert provides better grounding and prevents the anode from loosening, even as it is being consumed.
Propeller nut anodes can significantly increase the life of the propeller and the connected shaft.

Affords protection in brackish as well as salt water

All Sea Shield aluminum anodes conform to Mil Spec MIL-A-24779 for maximum protection
