These wishbone ("Y") hoses are used to connect 3M's full- and half-facepiece respirators to supplied air regulators.
They can be used for both high and low pressure supplied air (positive pressure) systems.

This product is the hose, only, and does not include a facepiece or regulator.

Dual airline assemblies are compatible with all 3M bayonet facepieces, as they simply attach to the bayonet fittings on the facepiece.

Standard Wishbone Air Hoses -
In most work environments, the "standard" direct-connect hoses are adequate for complete worker respiratory protection.

Combination Wishbone Air Hoses -
In some circumstances, it may be necessary to disconnect from the "house" supplied air hose in order to maneuver around an obstacle, or exit the spray booth, etc. leaving the worker unprotected during that time.
Use of a "combination" air hose allows a connection from the belt-mounted regulator to the facepiece for positive pressure supplied air, and also has a provision on the facepiece bayonet connector to attach an appropriate filter/cartridge for self-contained negative pressure protection.
This keeps the worker protected at all times even when temporarily disconnected from the supplied air source.
Use of a filter/cartridge is mandatory when using a "combination" hose they won't function properly without them.
When the "house" hose to the regulator is disconnected, the system automatically changes to the installed filter/cartridges for negative pressure protection.

SA2500 is the standard long (with long Y legs) wishbone breathing tube for wearing along your back, so it is out of the way.
It can be used with either high or low pressure regulators
The SA2500 is part of the 3M Wishbone Back-Mounted Supplied Air Breathing Tube/Regulator Kit SA-2000 (high pressure) & SA-2000LP (low pressure) kits

SA1500 is the standard short (with short Y legs) wishbone breathing tube for wearing in front of you, when a front connection to your facepiece is preferred.
It can be used with either high or low pressure regulators.
The SA1500 is part of the 3M Wishbone Front-Mounted Supplied Air Breathing Tube/Regulator Kit SA-1000 (high pressure) & SA-1000LP (low pressure) kits

SA2600 is the combination longback mounted wishbone breathing tube.
The combo tube has (orange) bayonet fittings at the mask ends for mandatory use of appropriate 3M filter/vapor cartridges on the facepiece, in addition to the supplied air dual airlines.
The vapor cartridges allow for temporarily disconnecting the "house" supplied air hose while still maintaining respiratory protection.
The SA2600 is part of the 3M Wishbone Back-Mounted Supplied Air Breathing Tube/Regulator Kit SA-2100 (high pressure) & SA-2100LP (low pressure) kits

SA1600 is the combination shortfront mounted wishbone breathing tube.
